Aims and objectives
Cloud technology is transforming business, from SaaS to IaaS the cloud is making inroads into organisations of all sizes and it’s here to stay. However cloud technology introduces unique security challenges and the industry has been slow to respond. By working with other vendors, government agencies and non-profit organisations we hope to change that:
- By allowing organisations to enforce their security policies in the cloud
- By working with other organisations to define industry standards for cloud vendors
- By using cloud technology to deliver security solutions that were previously off-limits to many organisations
Cloud computing is an evolving technology and we aim to be a the forefront of new security initiatives.
Estonia has a great record for software innovation, it is the home of Skype and the NATO cyber-defence centre of excellence.
Estonia is the only country to have publicly acknowledged a large scale co-ordinated cyber attack against its government, financial and media institutions. The attacks were successfully countered and the defence became a blueprint for governments across the world.
Being based in Estonia allows us to tap into an excellent talent pool and share advice amongst other leading security practitioners
